Black and White Bathroom Wallpaper
Bathrooms, we all got ’em and we all use ’em. It’s weird to admit it, but we humans spend a good chunk of our day in the bathroom. Let’s make our bathrooms a cute place to be. I have a perfect solution that will change the overall look of your bathroom. Black and white bathroom wallpaper!
Although wallpaper is a permanent design element, you can easily change it out over the years if you get sick of it. If you can’t tell from all of my blogs, I love a simple fun farmhouse design. Black, white, and tan are my favorite colors to see in a design. I just really like how neutral they are, and I tend to not get sick of black and white designs.
Black and White Bathroom Wallpaper – Behind the Vanity and Mirror
For bathrooms the best placement for a wallpaper accent wall would be behind the vanity and mirror combo. Since this is the wall that everyone looks toward while washing their hands, brushing their teeth, or getting ready, it calls for a perfect place to add some character.
Below are more examples of wallpaper behind the vanity and mirror.
As you can see, circle and oval mirrors are trending. There are endless possibilities when it comes to adding black and white bathroom wallpaper. If you have a smaller bathroom, you’ll want to choose a wallpaper with less black and more white elements so you’re not suffocating the space.
Before and After
The before image is just your average bathroom. It wasn’t a horrible bathroom, just very bland and nothing special. By just updating the walls by adding a geometric black and white wallpaper, a new mirror, and an open wooden shelf, the space is transformed.
Nesting with Grace took a different approach the to the wallpaper placement. The designer decided to only have the wallpaper on the upper half of the wall, but she wrapped the wallpaper around the entire top half. This approach would work as long as your bathroom is not too small, and if you choose a wallpaper that is not too hectic.
What a gorgeous bathroom! Instead of putting the wallpaper on the upper half of the wall, this designer chose to place the accent wallpaper on the bottom half of the wall. I personally like the bottom half better as it’s a bit more subtle, and you’re able to hand things on the wall still.
